Accident-Prone

Last night, I had the joy of spending a night on the town in Waltham
with an old friend, Karam. As soon as he hopped in my car,
we began trying to remember the last time we'd gotten together.
(Clearly a sign that it had been too long since we'd seen each other.)
However, I've known Karam for YEARS.
We met in college... In the spring of 2006, to be exact.
We met when we were cast in the play, CLUE.

He will likely slap me for posting this picture.
He looks quite different these days.

For the record, his eyeliner was for the show... As were my obviously fake breasts.
(I don't have the natural assets that are necessary to play a voluptuous French Maid.)

Karam and I were attached at the hip in '06,
and we have gotten to know each other quite well over the past five years.

He's one of those friends that I can see after months of being apart,
and it feels like it was just yesterday that we were chatting and laughing.

He's one of those friends that can finish my sentences,
that can sympathize with my problems and complaints,
and that will want to eat ice cream after indulging in a high-calorie dinner of Mexican food.

But most importantly,
when I leap out of my car, excitedly telling a story,
and start down the sidewalk,
but accidentally walk right into a low-hanging branch
and hit my head so hard that my sunglasses fly off my head
and rattle across the concrete...

He's one of those friends that will quickly scoop up my sunglasses for me,
stand in the middle of the sidewalk, laughing hysterically along with me,
and declare, "This is why I love you!"
