Math is not my strong suit...

Today, I asked Crisp,

"If I sold $500,000 worth of MaryCaseyCakes,

could we buy a $10.5 million house?"

Crisp said no.

I said, "Why not?! We'd have half the money,

so we'd only need to finance, like, another $500,000 for the mortgage."

Through his laughter he reminded me that

$500,000 + $500,000 < $10,500,000.

What a difference one pesky little zero makes in ruining all my hopes and dreams.
