It's time to get skinny!
It's no secret that I've progressively put on a few (errr... maybe more than a few) pounds over the last couple years. I finally feel like I've mustered enough motivation to do something about it... Other than pout into the mirror and complain to everyone who will listen.
Instead of listing what I'm grateful for, I'm going to list a few healthy things that I've accomplished each day. They may not always be super impressive, but hopefully this will help me toward my goals and keep me in check!
Here's to today...
1. I bought Munchkins from Dunkin Donuts for my office, and I ate less than 10 of them throughout the day. (It was a very stressful day, so this is totally an accomplishment!)
2. I brought gym clothes and actually went to the gym after work (AND burned about 500 calories!)
3. I am successfully resisting the urge to get chips from Chipotle tonight, and managed to pick out a dinner option that is less than 600 calories.
And BONUS: This morning, I actually remembered to DVR The Bachelor. (I know it's despicable television, but I am already so far into this season, I feel like I have to see this disaster through til the end.) This isn't really a "healthy accomplishment," but it's important to have rewards after a positive day.
Now, I just have to keep this routine going for another 2 or 3 days this week... Keep your fingers crossed for me!
